Residents in the Central Valley pulled out their camera phones to capture a rare scene in California. Rain and even hail fell from the sky Thursday afternoon and evening. Firefighters are encouraged by the rain because it provides some temporary relief from the dry drought conditions, but it will take a lot more rain to lessen the fire danger.
