Mariposa Fire Mountain Community Fire Information
the small fire occurred in the vicinity of Chowchilla mountain road and as of 1:10 pm 1/12.2014 has been contained.
Most of the fires around this time are due to lack of rain fall and people trying to burn brush piles way too big for one person to control.
1/21/2014 Update! – New Fire started in the vicinity, will keep informed.
