Clovis East Grad DeChambeau Wins NCAA Golf Championship

Clovis East graduate Bryson DeChambeau (SMU) finished with a 71 on Monday to win the NCAA Men’s Golf Individual Championship with a 280 overall score.

DeChambeau becomes the second Clovis native to win the NCAA Men’s Golf National Championship.  Buchanan grad Kevin Chappell won the title in 2008.

The junior becomes the first player from SMU to ever win the individual title.
