Highway 140 in Yosemite National Park Reopens

The Highway 140 entrance into Yosemite National Park will re-open as of Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. The highway, referred to as El Portal Road within the park boundary, was closed on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 due to the Dog Rock Fire. Additionally, electrical power to Yosemite Valley is expected to be restored late this evening, Friday, October 10, 2014.
