Mexican flag spotted flying above an American flag in Madera

In the north valley, a woman got a lesson in flag etiquette. She was flying a Mexican flag above an American flag at her home in Madera. It’s not illegal but it’s also not the proper way to display our nation’s colors. According to flag code, one nation’s flag should not fly above another’s in times of peace and two national flags should never fly on a single pole. The homeowner says it was an honest mistake and she ended up taking down both flags.
