Public immigration forum held at Manchester Mall

Hundreds of local undocumented immigrants and families were given information on how to find work in this country.

A public immigration forum at Fresno’s Manchester Mall this weekend gave out naturalization and visa forms, and answered questions about how to stay here, and get to work. They also learned how to sign up for a driver’s license.

"People want to become citizens, and they’re given the wrong information, and the wrong information, unfortunately, can get somebody deported," Samuel Molina, with Me Familia Vota, said.

More than 100 people attended the event.
