Sterling (Wildfire)

The Sterling fire is located east of Del Rosa Avenue in the city of San Bernardino. It was reported at 6:30 PM on June 25th, 2015. CALFIRE, City of San Bernardino and Forest Service are responding with Dozers, engines, and crews. Additional resources have been requested from the Lake Fire.Temporary Command Post is at Sterling cross of Foothill.Crews responding include:22 engines2 crews1 Water tenderLead Air Attack and TankersNight Flying HelicopterDrones temporarily halted tanker operations, but operations soon resumed. One drone was interfering with fire operations and has not been located. A second drone was reported by a concerned citizen and it was located. After reviewing the footage it was determined that it was not interfering with fire
