Well so far seems like we are off to a good start, at least with the California Drought issue.
this last storm brought several inches of rain and a good dump of snow up in the high sierra, Tioga pass at 9,943 elevation is already closed from Crane flat to 5 miles west of US 395 due to snow conditions.
In case some don’t really know Tioga Pass is a mountain pass in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. State Route 120 runs through it, and serves as the eastern entry point for Yosemite National Park, at the Tioga Pass Entrance Station.
While already colder in the morning now the weather forecast seems bright for the rest of the week with no chances of rain in the near future at least next week that is, and an average 70 degrees for the most part, but lets not forget winter is coming and it will get colder,
so if you are driving into Yosemite or any of our country roads please drive carefully and be safe out there.
