Westbound Jensen Avenue, near Cedar, reopened after solo vehicle wreck

Westbound traffic on Jensen Avenue, near Cedar, has reopened after a single vehicle accident.

The wreck happened at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The driver was traveling eastbound on Jensen, barreled through the median and came to a stop in the westbound lane.

According to police on the scene, the driver was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition.

The engine was ejected from the vehicle. Several trees were knocked down.

Police do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a part in the wreck.
