A Type 3 incident management team is now managing the Dog Rock Fire, and will continue to manage the fire until full containment is achieved. They will rehabilitate firelines and return the fire area to as natural condition as possible. The fire is at 311 acres, and with 95 % containment. Firefighters and fire engines will be patrolling Hwy 140, watching for rolling material and hotspots. Travelers should use extreme caution and expect delays when driving through the fire area. Smoke from the interior of the fire may be visible.
