195 soldiers returned to Fort Carson for Thanksgiving

Nearly 200 families had a special reason to be thankful yesterday. <br /><br />One-hundred and ninety-five soldiers returned to Fort Carson, Colorado on Thanksgiving Day after an eight month deployment to Afghanistan. The 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team arrived just in time to celebrate with family. <br /><br />As you’d imagine, there was plenty of emotional reunions to go around. While in Afghanistan, the soldiers helped train, advise and assist Afghan National Security Forces. <br /></div>
