Almond farmers helping honey bees stay healthy

Honey bees in the south valley are working ahead of schedule. They are pollinating blooming almond trees and building up colonies. Beekeepers say the bees are a bit stronger than last year but still struggling through the drought. Some farmers are now planting extra flowers in the orchards to help keep them healthy.</div>
