Armenian Christmas celebrated over weekend

The holidays are not over for those who are part of the Armenian church. <br /><br />Members of the First Presbyterian Armenian Church joined residents of the California Armenian home for a Christmas celebration. Armenian Christmas is on Tuesday so members celebrated a special Sunday service today. They sang Christmas carols in both English and Armenian. <br /><br />The coordinator says the event helps bring some cheer and celebration to the residents.<br /><br />&quot;We are proud of this heritage and a lot of these Armenian Apostolic Churches. Which are the more traditional churches from their homeland always celebrate Armenian Christmas,&quot; Jane Bedrosian, coordinator,&nbsp;said.&nbsp;<br /><br />Many Armenian Christians celebrate Christmas twice, on both December 25th and January 6th.<br /><br /></div>
