CHP crackdown on aggressive drivers

The Highway Patrol is cracking down on aggressive drivers. It received a federal grant to help.

The CHP says more than 40% of vehicle collisions in the state are caused by drivers who are speeding or aggressive. Most of the grant money will be used to increase education about aggressive driving.

The ultimate goal is to reduce the number of deaths by at least 5%.

The Highway Patrol says if you come across an aggressive driver the safest thing to do is let them go on their way and continue to drive in a safe manner.
