Educator of the Week, Mrs. Katrina Roubedeaux in Fresno

<font size="2">Mrs. Katrina Roubedeaux has been teaching at Big Picture Middle &amp; High school for six years. It’s clear why she was nominated for Educator of the Week. <p> </p> <p>&quot;I really enjoyed helping others and I realize you know what this is definitely a calling that I have and that’s when I made the decision,&quot; said Roubedeaux </p> <p> </p> <p>&quot;She’s always encouraged me to go further and other students too, she’s always there she helps you one by one,&quot; said Julia Mendez, student.</p> <p>Student Julia Mendez says she’s there for students on a personal and academic level.</p> <p> </p> <p>Anthony Taylor looks forward to school every day because of the environment, &quot;The people here are rally nice the teachers here are really nice, we get to connect with everybody the same, &quot; said Taylor.</p> <p>&quot;They realize that they have somebody that they can rely on, they have somebody they can talk to…. they have somebody thy can trust,&quot; said Mrs. Roubedeaux.</p> <p> </p> <p>She has become the director of curriculum for the entire school and has led the teachers in developing &quot;Project Based Learning&quot;, which helps students solve real-world problems and challenges.</p> <p> </p> <p>Mrs. Roubedeaux says she wants students to feel like home, and that’s what makes Mrs. Katrina Roubedeaux our Educator of the Week.</p></font></div>
