Family of 2nd Fresno Homicide Speaks Out

Police said Winston was a gang member, but they said he wasn’t active as of recent.</span></div> <div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><span lang="en">&nbsp;</span></div> <div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><span lang="en">Oracio Garcia’s house sits yards away from the apartment carport where Winston was gunned down. He said, &quot;It’s usually pretty quiet. I mean, it just gets a little single street, apartments on both sides.&quot;</span></div> <div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><span lang="en">&nbsp;</span></div> <div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><span lang="en">Garcia said his sons were home on Saturday night and heard the entire shooting.</span></div> <div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><span lang="en">&nbsp;</span></div> <div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><span lang="en">&quot;They heard some gun shots, about six of them,&quot; said Garcia.</span></div> <div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><span lang="en">&nbsp;</span></div> <div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><span lang="en">Police said Winston’s murder marks Fresno’s second homicide of 2015. Winston’s cousin Lois Cook said their family is shocked and heartbroken.</span></div> <div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><span lang="en">&nbsp;</span></div> <div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><span lang="en">Cook said, &quot;We got the phone call, wasn’t sure if it was him.
