Fire Destroys Home

<font size="2"><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Fresno firefighters were met with an added challenge while battling a house fire; dense fog. Fire crews say it delayed their commute to the site near Herndon and Del Rey in Fresno County on Monday morning. The fire was not reported until around 3:30am, but fire officials say it may have been burning for a longer period of time before they were notified. &quot;Fog does impair us so we had to slow down. When we got here it was on fire from one end&nbsp; to the other,&quot; said Battalion Chief&nbsp; Josh Chrisman.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A witness to the fire said the home is a rental property. A car was parked in front of the home, but it’s unknown if anyone was inside at the time of the fire.</p></font></div>
