Governor Brown Signs Controversial Vaccine Bill

California’s controversial vaccine bill is now state law.
Governor Brown signed the bill Tuesday morning, after the state senate passed it Monday.
Now, under state law, all children have to be up to date with their vaccinations before they can enter public or private schools and even daycares.
The only other option to vaccinating your kids is home schooling them.
In a statement, Governor Brown said, "The science is clear that vaccines dramatically protect children against a number of infectious and dangerous diseases."
The bill allows an exception when a "physician believes that circumstances so warrant."
Opponents have argued that the bill violates parental rights.
