Group of Fresno firefighters honored today

Three children rescued from their burning home in Fresno are showing signs of progress. <br /><br />The kids are expected to make a full recovery. The firefighters who rushed in to save their lives are being recognized by the city. While they’re honored they say it’s just part of the job, although Deandrae Douglas says this time was different. <br /><br />&quot;When we originally got the call it came in as a regular fire and we didn’t know it was a rescue until we actually got off the rig and were pulling the hose up to the front door. That’s when we heard the screams that there were kids,&quot;&nbsp;<span style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;">Douglas&nbsp;said.&nbsp;<br /><br /></span>Earlier this morning, the mayor presented all seven men with proclamations at city hall.<br /><br /></div>
