Masked Armed Robbers Hold up Convenience Store

Authorities are looking for two armed robbers behind a brazen hold up.<br /><br />The pair wore ski masks and waved guns as they robbed a convenience store.<br /><br />The robbery was captured on security cameras set up in the store. The thieves threatened the store clerk.<br /><br />It happened at the Shop-N-Quick on Elm Avenue in Easton. It took place Tuesday, November 18th. And detectives are asking for your help to find those responsible. <br /><br />The suspects may be connected to another hold-up in the city of Fresno on the same night the store in Easton was robbed. <br /><br />The description of the suspects is similar. And authorities are hoping you might recognize them from the security footage.<br /><br />This was the scene inside the Shop-N-Quick convenience store in Easton two weeks ago. Around 10:15 at night on Tuesday, November 18th two robbers, wearing ski masks and carrying guns, threatened the clerk, forcing him to open the cash register. They grabbed cash from the register and ran off.<br /><br />Another camera caught an image of the suspects entering the store. Both wearing dark clothing and dark ski masks. One of the robbers had a red glove on his left hand. Both carried guns. They drove away from the store in a white sedan.<br /><br />Investigators discovered that another market had been held up about an hour earlier in southwest Fresno and the suspects had a similar description.<br /><br />Zack’s market at California and Martin Luther King Boulevard was also robbed by two men in ski masks who ran in with hand guns and threatened employees. <br /><br />In both cases the suspects were described as white males, wearing dark clothes and black ski masks. Witnesses at Zack’s said the robbers appeared to be young, around 18 to 21 years old. And in both cases, the thieves left in a white sedan or small car.<br /><br />The stores that were robbed are near high schools. Zack’s is down the street from Edison High School The Shop-N-Quick is across the street from Washington Union High School.<br /><br />If you recognize the suspects or have any information on the robberies, you’re asked to call the Fresno Sheriff’s Department at 600-3111 or the Fresno Police Department at 621-7000. Or Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP. You will remain anonymous and your tip could be worth a reward of up to a thousand dollars.<br /></div>
