Mobile pet adoption station visits River Park

The Valley Animal Center kicked off the first weekend of the year by taking their mobile adoption trailer to River Park. <br /><br />The no kill shelter has dozens of dogs and cats for adoption. They say these events are also good for talking about the importance of spaying and neutering pets. Organizers say 90% of their animals are from local shelters. <br /><br />&quot;The more animals we can pull from kill centers we can lower the euthanasia rate that way. The more space we have the more we can save animals,&quot;&nbsp;Taylor Hunken, from Valley Animal Center, said.&nbsp;<br /><br />If you are interested in adopting a pet the Valley Animal Center will be at River Park the first and third Saturdays of each month.<br /><br /></div>
