Mock trial lets students step into the courtroom

Fresno County high schools get the opportunity see what it’s like to be an attorney. Some are competing in a mock trial. <br /><br />Students are given a court case that incorporates roles of various abilities. Pam McGee, with the Fresno County Office of Education joined Teresa Sardina on Sunrise to tell us more. &nbsp;<br /><br />&quot;Mock trial is an opportunity for our students to have a really authentic experience practicing the roles that you mentioned. Practicing the roles of Defense Attorney, Prosecution. There’s a bailiff, a clerk, we even have court reporters and journalists who engage in a real trial that’s been created by the Constitutional Rights Foundation,&quot;&nbsp;Pam McGee, said.<br /><br /></div>
