Moment of Silence for Fmr Fresno DEA Agent

<div>DEA agents paused to remember a former Fresno agent whose body was found 30 years ago today after being kidnapped and killed by the Mexican drug cartel.</div><div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</div><div>The tortured body of Enrique &quot;Kiki&quot; Camarena was found in Guadalajara nearly a month after he was kidnapped by drug traffickers.</div><div><br /></div><div>Kiki worked in Fresno in the 80’s before being transferred to Guadalajara.</div><div><br /></div><div>This morning agents across the DEA paused for a moment of silence in honor of Kiki.</div><div><br /></div><div>The Red Ribbon campaign in schools across the country was inspired by Kiki’s tragic loss.</div><div><br /></div><div>He left behind a wife and three kids.</div><div><br /></div><div>In a statement to the Fresno DEA, Kiki’s wife said in part, &quot;Thirty years and it seems like yesterday at times…may God bless and protect our DEA agents and their families.&quot;</div></div>
