Package Thief Caught on Camera

&quot;When it happened I was at school. And my mom told me and it made me want to cry a little,&quot; said Alex Cash.<br /><br />A package for the little boy was stolen from the front porch of his home. The brazen theft caught by the family’s security cameras.<br /><br />The theft happened in the middle of the day. Right after lunch. The package had only been on the front porch for an hour.<br /><br />The family lives in the neighborhood of Polk and Clinton.<br /><br />The theft was caught on camera.<br /><br />The thief wearing a Raiders sweatshirt walked right up to the Cash family’s house and stole a package that had been left on their doorstep.<br /><br />&quot;It wasn’t extremely valuable, but it was ours,&quot; Alice Cash said.<br /><br />Alice said she got an email at work that her package had been delivered Monday afternoon. But when she got home the package wasn’t there.<br />So she checked the footage from her security camera.<br /><br />&quot;The package was delivered at 12:24. At 1:24 he just walked right up picked it up, left, cut around to the back where there was a white car,&quot; Alice said.<br /><br />The thief walked to a car that was waiting for him and left.<br />The package contained a computer part for son Alex’s computer that’s being built. <br /><br />&quot;I feel kind of sad cause now I have to wait more longer for it to come,&quot; Alex said.<br /><br />Alex and his sister were looking forward to playing video games on that new computer. That’s been put on hold.<br /><br />In the meantime, their mother hopes you might recognize the thief.<br /><br />Alice Cash works for Pelco and has five of their high-tech security cameras around her house. She plans to add another and change the way she has items shipped.<br /><br />&quot;I’ll change my whole way of ordering. I will no longer be able to use UPS unless it’s a signature and I know somebody is going to be home,&quot; Alice said.<br /><br />If you recognize the thief, contact Fresno police at (559) 621-7000.<br /><br /></div>
