Police arrest man in mobile home park after stand-off

A police stand-off in a west Fresno mobile home park is now over.

It started shortly before 9 this morning, at the Villa Fresno Mobile Home Park on McKinley and Pleasant. The suspect surrendered to police after an hour and a half.

Police arrested parolee Roland D’Antonio after they recovered a BB gun from inside this home. Police responded to a call reporting shots fired around 8:40 a.m. When they arrived neighbors said a male that lives inside the home behind was shooting rounds outside.

When we arrived, police were trying to contact the suspect via phone and loud speaker. He did not respond.

"The person detained is upset, he may have been drinking this morning, and right now we’re just trying to get to the bottom of what really took place," lt. Anthony Martinez, from Fresno Police Department said.

No one else was inside of the home and no one was hurt but police officials did confirm to us that there are fire arms registered to this address. D’antonio was taken away by ambulance for unknown reasons.
