Police investigate Southeast Fresno shooting

Police are investigating a shooting in Southeast Fresno that left one man injured Tuesday.<br /><br />It happened in the area of Chance and Hamilton Avenues around 9:15 p.m.<br /><br />Police heard three gunshots from the Southeast Fresno substation which is about a block away. They located the crime scene and found a parked car that had been hit by gunfire. About 20 minutes later the victim showed up at Community Regional Medical Center.<br /><br />The victim was rushed into surgery and is now listed in stable condition.<br /><br />Police say the victim, a 35-year-old African American man was shot once.<br /><br />At this point officers don’t know much about the victim or the motive for the shooting.<br /></div>
