Ranchers are afraid drought monitoring map is not accurate

California ranchers are concerned that the U.S. Drought Monitor map is not accurate. <br /><br />It’s a map of drought conditions released weekly by a group of climatologists from the University of Nebraska. Each week, it releases information on the state of the drought, and soil conditions. <br /><br />California ranchers say sometimes the data is not up-to-date, making it inaccurate. They’re encouraging state ranchers to contribute their own date to the drought monitor. <br /><br />The California Ranchers Association is hoping to work out a plan with the drought monitor by the end of this year.<br /><br /></div>
