Residents Displaced After Early Morning Fire

<font size="2"><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Seven people have been displaced after a fire was sparked in an apartment complex on Thursday morning. The fire broke out at an eight unit apartment building near Shields and West around 3 a.m. Investigators believe it started inside of a water heater closet and extended into the attic. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The fire quickly spread to two units in the apartment building. Investigators believe cleaning supplies were stored in the heating closet, causing fire to ignite. Officials say one adult was displaced from one apartment, and two more adults and four children from another. American Ambulance personnel evacuated the building before fire crews arrived. Fire crews had to tear down the ceiling in order to reach the fire so the apartments are greatly damaged. The exact cost of damage is unknown.</p></font></div>
