The family of an elderly Fresno man who was killed during a gun store robbery is now suing the store where the robbery took place.

George Sheklian was killed while taking coffee into Fresno Firearms near his shoe repair business on Blackstone and Sierra in Fresno on December 4th. Sheklian was pushed down by robbers as they fled the gun store. His head hit the pavement and he died several days later.

The suit claims that Sheklian’s death could have been prevented if the store had more security in place. It also alleges that the stores security door was not operational.

The suspects in the robbery have not been arrested.
