<div class="StoryBlock">
<div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">Today is Super Saturday, or Panic Saturday as some would call it. It’s the final Saturday before Christmas, which means shoppers are out in full force for those last minute gifts. Some stores are just closing for the night, as retailers stay open late for holiday shoppers.</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">&nbsp;</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">Shoppers braved the large crowds and the busy parking lots on Saturday to make sure they’re ready for Christmas. Many said it was worth coming out on Super Saturday because of the great deals.</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">&nbsp;</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">&quot;Everybody’s pretty much rushing, everybody’s trying to get in and get out,&quot; said Fresno shopper Monica Flynn.</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">Flynn’s plan was to get through the crowds at the Fashion Fair mall in Fresno to get her mom some last-minute gifts.</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">&nbsp;</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">She exclaimed, &quot;I couldn’t find anywhere to park! I’m actually parked, it’s not across the street, do you know where the Michael Kors and stuff is? All the way past there!&quot;</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">&nbsp;</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">But once she was in the mall, it was all about the steals and deals of the day. Retail analysts said Super Saturday could beat out Black Friday as the biggest retail generating day of 2014.</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">&nbsp;</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">Flynn said, &quot;I got her some, she loves fragrances and everything. Got her some underwear and more fragrances, and a couple of outfits.&quot;</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">&nbsp;</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">Tracie Polosky is the store manager DeVons Jewelers and has been with the store for more than 20 years. She’s seen it all, including a bad economy. But this year, she said Super Saturday was shiny and bright, just like the diamonds she sells.</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">&nbsp;</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">&quot;A lot of foot traffic, it kind of ebbs and flows. We get super, super busy, and then we get a little quieter, which is nice to kinda give us a chance to clean up,&quot; said Polosky.</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">&nbsp;</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">Over at the River Park shopping center in Fresno, there was a similar scene.</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">&nbsp;</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">Brianna Dartas, the supervisor at Kwirkworld said, &quot;Today has been crazy busy. We’ve had a lot of customers come in, they’re doing last minutes buys, you know the stocking stuffers.&quot;</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">&nbsp;</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">Dartas said there were lots of shoppers, getting in all they can with four days left until Christmas.</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">&nbsp;</font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><font size="2">&quot;Every customer that I’ve talked to, that’s exactly what they’re saying. ‘Oh I’m here last minute, what do you have for this person who likes Star Wars? I’m here last minute, what do you have for my twelve year old daughter?’&quot; said Dartas.</font></div></div>
