Yosemite National Park to Begin Fall Prescribed Fire Program

The National Park Service is planning to begin fall prescribed fire activities in the Yosemite Valley area. Weather and air quality permitting, YV-15 will begin around September 16 th, while YV-4 is slated for the following week. Yosemite National Park to Waive Entrance Fee in Celebration of National Public Lands Day and to Honor Newly Naturalized Citizens

All National Park Service sites, including Yosemite National Park will offer free visitor admission on September 27, 2007 for National Public Lands Day. Yosemite National Park Cautions Poachers
