<div class="StoryBlock">
Tulare County firefighters set a couple of Christmas trees on fire, Monday morning. It was a demonstration to show how quickly the trees can burn and destroy a room. The trees were lit in controlled environments and both went up in flames in a matter of seconds. According to national statistics, firefighters respond to more than 200 Christmas tree fires a year and a third of the fires are caused by electrical problems. Firefighters recommend checking the lights, make sure they’re working properly and keep any kind of heat source at least 3 feet away from the tree.</div>
