Vacant building near Peach engulfed in flames

Fire broke out early this morning at a vacant office owned by the City of Fresno near Peach and Hamilton. That’s where fire crews found the building fully engulfed, with flames spreading outward. <br /><br />They worked quickly to put the blaze out. Investigators believe the fire was started by a homeless person. <br /><br />&quot;We’re seeing a lot more due to the fact its colder folks are trying to get in doors don’t have a roof over their heads in process unfortunately trying to stay warm start fire extended into building,&quot; Todd Tuggle, Battalion Chief Fresno City Fire said.&nbsp;<br /><br />Firefighters say no one was inside when they arrived on scene and the estimated damage stands at $10,000.</div>
