Valley veterans get a little help this holiday season

Families of valley veterans will be getting help this holiday season. <br /><br />Five families were selected by their case managers to receive a $1,000 donation from Gill Ranch Storage. All of these families have been going through trying times, struggling with everything from the basic necessities to losing everything they had. <br /><br />Lead veteran advocate Ron Carnegie says homelessness among veterans is an on-going problem that is compacted by veterans who feel ashamed to ask for help. <br /><br />If you would like to make a donation to the San Joaquin Valley Veteran’s Office you can drop them off at any time at the office in Fresno.
