Woman Rescued From Burning Home in Central Fresno

A family in Fresno was woken up to a two alarm fire Wednesday night.

The fire started in a garage and quickly spread to the home located near West and Yale in Central Fresno.

The family’s furniture and some Christmas decorations were salvaged from the fire.

One adult was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

We spoke to a neighbor who saw the flames and jumped into action.

“I reached in door and it was all smoke. I saw the lady’s hands and went in there with him and reached for her hands and dragged her out,” Douglas Graham, neighbor said.

Three adults and a child in the home at the time of the fire and they were all fast asleep when the blaze started. They all are doing okay.

Again One person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

Investigators are working to figure out what caused the blaze to start.
