Dove Fire (Wildfire)

The Dove incident began June 7th, at approximately 12:24 pm on the Sierra National Forest. All available resources were sent to this incident. This includes; 12 engines, water tender, 2, type one hotshot Crews, 2 air tankers, 2 helicopters, SNF Air attack and 3 dozers. More resources have been called to assist the SNF and will arrive as early as tomorrow. Resources that were in the area, due to eliminating the threat caused by tree mortality, have now been assigned to the fire. The fire is located in the Jerseydale area and is active, growing to 50 acres in size. It is 60% contained, as resources continue to work through the night. Wild Dove Ln. is open to residents only and road 25 is closed for the night of June 7th. There are no structures threatened and no structures have been destroyed.
