Fresno City Council to make decision on water rate

Fresno City Council could make a decision on a water rate increase. The $429 million plan calls for raising the cost from $22 to $52  in five years.

The plan includes more recharge basins, new pipeline for surface water and a constructing a water treatment plant.

While the higher price isn’t welcome to most residents, folks we spoke with say, something needs to be done to keep the water supply from running out. Watch your neighbors react to the potential increase.
