1 Dead After Small Plane Crashes Near Livermore

One person has died after a small plane crashed in Livermore late Monday, according to NBC affiliate KNTV in the Bay Area.

KNTV’s report stated that the Federal Aviation Administration said a Piper PA22 plane crashed shortly after departing from the Livermore airport.

Preliminary reports from the FAA included in KNTV’s story stated that the pilot reported control problems before crashing about three miles northeast of the airport.
