11-Year-Old Cancer Survivor, Newest Fresno Grizzly on Midday

11-year-old Jackson Standifer, cancer survivor and newest member of the Fresno Grizzlies, will throw out the first pitch at Wednesday night’s game at Chukchansi Park.
He and his father were on KSEE24 Midday to talk about the game being called "Good Karma Night," a fundraiser for Valley Children’s Hospital.
The Fresno Grizzlies are allowing fans to pay whatever they want for any available seat Wednesday, April 15. The Grizzlies will donate half of the proceeds from each ticket purchased to Valley Children’s Hospital. Fans can choose their own price point at the Chukchansi Park Box Office or by calling 559.320.TIXS. If you buy tickets at the box office, you can name your own price. If you choose $ 0, you will still pay a $ 1 service fee. If you go online, you will be given three choices – $ 5, $ 10 or $ 15.

The Standifers have become big supporters of Valley Children’s Hospital, where Jackson was treated for Burkitt’s Stage-4 Lymphoma.
He is now in remission, but still undergoing chemotherapy treatments.
