4 People Shot in Southeast Fresno

Saturday morning, just before 1 am, Fresno Police got a call at Ninth and Church Avenue to investigate reports of shots being fired in the area. While officers were responding to the call, they received information that several people had been shot during a neighborhood disturbance.

When Police arrived, they located 4 victims who were shot during the disturbance. Three of the victims were adult males. The fourth victim was an adult female. Emergency Medical Services transported all of the shooting victims to Community Regional Medical Center.  Two of the adult males died from their gunshot injuries.

It all started at a party being held at a house that several people were attending. During the party, an argument started between the party goers and people associated with a residence next door to the residence where the party was being held. The argument escalated into a physical disturbance. During the disturbance, several gunshots were fired from people involved in the disturbance, striking the four victims.
