8 Couples Celebrate 50th Anniversaries Together

They all met at Fresno Pacific University, and each couple has been married since 1965.

The couples say back then, the college was small with just 100 students.

The friends reunited in Fresno for a grand reunion, celebrating 50 years of marriage as well as their lifelong friendship.

"We were just in the room talking about all the pranks we used to pull back then. That was a lot of fun," says Paul Newfeld, who celebrated 50 years with his wife Judy. "We are supposed to be grown up and mature now and not doing those kinds of things."

The couples started planning this reunion two years ago, when there were 10 couples total.

But since then, two had spouses pass away.
