Armed robbery suspect identified as gang member

Meanwhile, Fresno Police has identified a suspect in connection to an armed robbery at the California Market on Belmont last month.

The suspect is identified as 19-year-old Joel Rodriguez. Fresno Police says he’s a bulldog gang member and is currently in hiding. The robbery happened in the morning on May 29th in the 2800 block of Belmont. Police say Rodriguez, along with another suspect, pointed a handgun at a store worker, and demanded money.
