Big Baldy (Wildfire)

Note: This is one of the fires attributed to the storm that moved through the parks July 1 – July 2, 2015.The Big Baldy fire was discovered on July 2, 2015 by a fire crew from Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The current size of the fire is 0.1 acres. A park engine crew is monitoring and patrolling the location of the fire. Located in area previously treated by the Hart Prescribed Burn, so limited amount of fuels nearby.
