BREAKING: Ex-wife Arrested in Murder of Police Officer

Investigators have arrested the ex-wife of Exeter Police Officer Daniel Green for his murder.

23-year-old Erika Sandoval was taken into custody around five Saturday evening.

Tulare Sheriff Mike Boudreaux announced the arrest at a press conference. He says she is the only suspect in the crime.

Officer Green was found dead in his home in Goshen after he failed to show up to work on Friday.

Boudreaux said Green had been shot several times.

Boudreaux said investigators have recovered a weapon they believe was used in the crime.

Green is survived by a two-year-old son, who is in the care of family.
