RED CROSS OPENING EVACUATION CENTER FOR FOX FIRE RESIDENTS
June 7, 2015, Boot Jack, Calif. – The American Red Cross of the Central Valley is opening an evacuation center for residents affected by the Fox Fire at the New Life Christian Church, 5089 Cole Road, Boot Jack, Ca. An animal shelter is also being set up at the nearby Fish and Game building.
Residents are urged to follow evacuation orders from law enforcement and meet at the Red Cross evacuation center for relief, comfort, and fire updates. If needed, Red Cross volunteers are prepared to turn the evacuation center into an overnight shelter providing lodging, meals, health services, and more.
