Central Fresno house fire considered “total loss”

A central Fresno home is now considered a total loss after fire consumes it.

Officials say it started around 5:30 this morning near Lafayette and Dudley. When crews first arrived smoke was seen billowing from the home. Officials say the home is vacant, but the address does have a history of marijuana grows being found there.

A cause is unknown, though officials say, they’re now talking to a neighbor who may have surveillance video that could help give clues. In the meantime, the home is considered a total loss.
