Cinco de Mayo poses challenge for law enforcement

Even on a Tuesday evening the Cinco de Mayo celebration is bringing people out for cold adult beverages and Mexican cuisine. These customs are expected during this celebration. Unfortunately, so is the decision to drink and drive. Police say people are more likely to be killed by a drunk driver than a bullet.

Law enforcement agencies across the Central Valley deployed special DUI enforcement units to prevent tragedy following Cinco de Mayo celebrations.
