Clovis Student Wins $10k at International Science Fair

The International Science and Engineering Fair was held last week in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where a Clovis student came home with a big prize.

Out of 1,700 students from 70 countries, Clovis North Junior Alex Tacescu won a $ 10,000 scholarship to the school of his choice for his project, which is a drive system for a stand-up wheelchair.
