Clovis Unified fighting vandalism and graffiti at schools

Clovis Unified School District leaders say vandalism and graffiti plague their school campuses on a regular basis and they need the public’s help to put a stop to it.

Resources are having to be budgeted by the school district for custodians to paint over graffiti and make repairs.

The latest case happened on the campus of Clark Intermediate School during the overnight hours this week. Campus surveillance cameras captured the vandalism and school district leaders are asking for help in identifying the suspects.

If it is determined the suspects are students they will face expulsion and legally they’ll be charged with at least felony vandalism.

Anyone with information is asked to email Clovis Police at clovispolice@cityofclovis.com, call CUSD PD at 559-327-9221, or call Crime Stoppers at 559-498-STOP. You can remain anonymous.
