Couple arrested in Dinuba after armed robbery

Clovis Police arrested Richard Banuelos, 48, and Melissa Williams, 41, for second degree armed robbery, conspiracy to commit a crime, assault with a deadly weapon with force, harm to an elderly dependent adult, vehicle theft, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

The armed robbery occurred at a laundromat on the 100 block of Shaw Avenue between Villa and Minnewawa Avenues. Officers found a woman, 67, bleeding in the parking lot. She told police she was attacked while putting her laundry in her car and that a woman stole her purse and hit her. 

Clovis Police arrested the couple at a Dinuba in Wal-Mart. Stolen items were recovered from their car, which was found to be a stolen vehicle, 

Both suspects are in violation of felony parole.
